Fragment of fine Linen, with two similar bands of woven tapestry; coloured silks, chiefly yellow, blue, and red, on fine flax warps. The pattern of the bands consists of a double intertwining waved stem, forming a succession of small spaces, in which are debased renderings of floral devices. There is a piece like it at the South Kensington Museum, and the above is the official description. 6½ in. | 6 in. Saracenic(?) 7th to 11th century. Aḥmîm.
