Cartonnage; a pectoral from the breast of a mummy, representing the goddess Nut, kneeling, wearing the disk of the sun upon her head, with outspread wings; in her hands she holds the emblem of Maāt, a flail and the ānch. Upon each side of Nut is the soul in the form of a human-headed hawk, with the feather infront, emblem of Maāt, in the attitude of adoration; behind these figures is the khaibit, in the form of a fan or shade. 4¼ in. | 8½ in.
